About Courtney, Heart and Homemaking….

Welcome to Heart and Homemaking, I’m Courtney.. you might have already guessed that by the little title there. I am a 28 (almost 29) year old, unmarried (but in a relationship), childless (but I have raise other peoples children for them), woman.My boyfriend and I live in Sumner Washington.. and little town just outside of a big one but this place sticks with the “little town with one main street feel”. We have two children… well a dog and a cat.

I am what some would call old school (Yes at 29 I am old school), but I like to think of it as trying to keep the traditions alive. You will see in future posts that I love a time when things seemed simpler.. like the 30’s to the 60’s. My favorite show is I Love Lucy (I even named my dog Lucille Ball), my favorite music is the Golden Oldies station (Pandora is my friend for that) and I would rather stay in and have a nice dinner party than go out to a bar.
